Privacy Policy

How DTI Suite handles your information.

DRAFT TEMPLATE — provided to start the process. Have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review and adapt it before you publish or sell. Not legal advice.

Effective date: 2026-06-28

Dynamic Infrared ("we", "us") makes DTI Suite (the "Software"). This policy explains what information we handle when you use the Software and buy a subscription, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. THE SHORT VERSION

- Your inspection work stays on your computer. Photos, spreadsheets, and the reports you build are processed locally; we do not upload or collect them. - To sell you a subscription and run licensing, we (and our payment/licensing provider, LemonSqueezy) handle your name, email, billing details, and a license key tied to a non-identifying device fingerprint. - We do not sell your personal information.

2. INFORMATION WE HANDLE

(a) Purchase and account information. When you subscribe, our provider LemonSqueezy collects your name, email address, billing/tax details, and payment information, and acts as the merchant of record for the sale. We do not see or store your full payment card details. We receive limited order information such as your name, email, and subscription status. (b) License and activation data. When you activate the Software, it sends your license key and a non-identifying machine "fingerprint" (a one-way hash derived from your device, used only to lock the license to your computer) to the licensing service, along with activation and validation timestamps. (c) Technical and update data. When the Software checks for updates or validates a license, standard technical information (such as your IP address, app version, and operating system) may be processed to complete the request. (d) Support and feedback. If you email us or use the in-app feedback feature, we receive the information you choose to send. (e) Inspection content. Radiometric photographs, asset spreadsheets, and the Word and PDF reports you create are stored and processed only on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to them.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information above to: provide and activate the Software; validate and manage your subscription; provide support and respond to you; maintain security and prevent abuse; improve the Software; and comply with legal and tax obligations.

4. SERVICE PROVIDERS

We rely on a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, including: - LemonSqueezy — payments, subscription billing, tax handling, and license-key issuance/validation. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy. - Email/communication tools used to support you. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. WHERE INFORMATION IS PROCESSED

We are based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Our providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

6. RETENTION

We keep purchase and license information for as long as your subscription is active and as needed afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Subject to applicable law (including Canada's PIPEDA, and, where they apply, the EU/UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws), you may request to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below. You may also contact your local privacy regulator.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. CHILDREN

The Software is a professional tool intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. CHANGES

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date above; significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
