Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about DTI Suite.

What is DTI Suite?
A Windows desktop app that builds professional electrical infrared inspection reports. You import your asset spreadsheet and thermal photos, review, and export a finished Microsoft Word and PDF report.
Who is it for?
Electrical thermographers and inspection companies who want to produce thorough, consistent reports fast — without juggling several programs. It was built by a working thermographer.
Do I need Microsoft Word?
Yes. DTI Suite produces a real editable Word document and uses Word to create the PDF, so Microsoft Word must be installed. No other software — and no internet — is needed to build a report.
Which cameras are supported?
Radiometric JPEGs from FLIR and HikMicro cameras. You can edit spot and box markers, read ΔT, and switch palettes right in the app.
How does licensing work?
DTI Suite is an annual subscription, licensed per machine. Your license activates one Windows PC; you can deactivate and move it to another computer as needed.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer. Your photos, spreadsheets and reports are processed locally and never uploaded. Only your license key and a non-identifying machine fingerprint are sent to our licensing provider to activate the software.
What standards does it follow?
Report content and re-inspection scheduling align with NFPA 70B, CSA Z463 and NETA temperature-rise practice. You can choose which standard the re-inspection schedule cites.
Can I edit the report after it's built?
Absolutely. DTI Suite hands you an editable Microsoft Word draft — tweak any wording, then export the final Word and PDF.
What are the system requirements?
A Windows 10/11 PC with Microsoft Word installed.
