Windows blocks macros in files downloaded from the web. Easiest: use the copy the installer already put in your “Templates - Edit These” folder. If you use this download instead: right-click the file ▸ Properties ▸ tick Unblock ▸ OK, then open it.

Fluke cameras don't take a direct template upload — this file gives you the exact categories and lines to load through SmartView (10-minute one-time setup), plus the tagging path for TiX and Fluke Connect models.

Testo's native tagging is SiteRecognition (site markers, not a text table) — import this CSV in IRSoft, print the markers, and every shot self-identifies its asset.
Raytron / InfiRay

Raytron/InfiRay cameras have no annotation import at all — photos pair by asset number instead (rename on the SD card or tag in DTI Suite's editor; 10 seconds per photo). The guide shows the exact workflow.
One note for Fluke (.is2) users: Fluke's temperatures sit in a closed format, so open each photo once in Fluke SmartView / Fluke Connect (File ▸ Export ▸ all temperatures) and save the export beside the image (same name); DTI Suite then measures every pixel just like a FLIR or HikMicro photo. Testo (.bmt) and Raytron/InfiRay (.irg) need no extra steps. The Camera tagging guide (PDF) covers the tagging workflow for all five makes.

3 · Do a real job
Load your Asset Inventory List and your FLIR, HikMicro, Fluke, Testo or Raytron photos, then Build Report. The Word template and Excel inventory are bundled inside.
How to use these files
From camera to finished report in six steps.
- Load the template onto your camera (once). Copy the FLIR .tcf or HikMicro .json onto your camera’s SD card and set it as the text-annotation / notes template. If your camera can, switch on “save a separate visible photo” too.
- Fill in the Asset Inventory List. Open the Excel workbook. Enter your client and site details at the top (company, contact, site, inspection date, thermographer), then add one row per asset — asset number, location, equipment, make/model and rating.
- Tag each shot on the camera. When you photograph an asset, pick its Asset No. in the on-camera template. That number is what links the photo to its row in the inventory.
- Open DTI Suite and load both. Choose your Asset Inventory List and your photos (or drag them onto the window). DTI Suite pairs each photo to its asset automatically by asset number.
- Review and edit. Double-click any photo to add Spot / Box markers and read the temperature difference (ΔT); adjust severity if needed, then save your edits back to the photo.
- Build the report. Click Build Report for an editable Word draft, then Finalize for the PDF — saved with your report title, in the same folder as your inventory.
